My friend P. C. - artist, photographer, über curator - sends me his new piece, along with this missive from my galaxy far far away: "Long overdue, I finally saw Vicky Cristina Barcelona last night. Do you think I was reminded of anyone? Is there some volcanic Mediterranean island where they breed women like Maria Callas, Penelope Cruz and YOU?"
